Hi,

I am currently migrating to the 'new' FRAM devices. Maybe I am overlooking something, but is it correct that it is not possible in at least some devices to tune the DCO to a specific frequency?

In the past I used the DCO library to 'calibrate' the DCO to my desired frequency using the low frequency crystal from ACLK.

    Forgot to add my requirements:

    - have an RTC running, so LFXT with 32kHz
    - have a stable frequency for MCLK and SMCLK, so HFXT with a crystal
    - have a possibility to switch to a variable frequency some some time (FLL in hw/we helped in the past)

    Hi Jan,

    You are correct - you cannot "tune" the DCO to any specific frequency with the FRAM devices. However, there are a lot of frequency options when you combine the fixed DCO frequency settings with your divider options.
