TSS721A: Can I use VB pin as power output

VDD is not sufficient to drive loading on customer board.

Besides of below 3 power supply mode, is it possible get power from TSS721 VB pin? Make it as power output? Thanks.

Hi,

VB is the differential bus voltage after the rectifier, so I would not recommend using it as a power output as that is not what it is designed for. If VDD is not sufficient enough, you may need to supply an external voltage instead.

Hi Daniel,

VB is the bust voltage. This voltage is read to give the value being transmitted on the bus.
