MSP432E401Y: I2C Multiple Modules + Sensors

Hi,

I have multiple sensors with the same i2c address and no way to modify that address for them. In the documentation for the msp432e401, it says that there are 10 i2c modules available, but I think they all connect to the same i2c bus? So does this mean that it is not possible to connect these multiple sensors without the use of a mux? Or is there a way to specify the I2C0SDA/SCL pins vs the I2C1SDA/SCL pins? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I am not sure I understand the question. There are 10 instances of the I2C module. So for example, on PD0/PD1 the seventh I2C module can be output and on PD2/PD3 the eighth. There are separate control registers for each so each could communicate on its own I2C bus and sensor. Please refer to this example, dev.ti.com/.../ .
Note that in the API's you specify which 'base' or instance is being configured.

The GPIO pins used for I2C are defined but you could connect each I2C to each sensor directly.

I was, thank you. It just required the definition of the I2C1 pins in the MSP_Exp432e401y.c and MSP_Exp432e401y.h files.
