Sensor monitor program refuses to use the 'MSP430 Application UART', installed on COM5.

Instead, it uses a seriel link on bluetooth.

Selection is accepted in settings, but after 'OK' on setting screen, the link on bluetooth is again used.

And so, remote devices (and temperature) are not reachable.

The same occurs on 3 PC (1 vista, 2 Xp SP3)

Any solution ?

Hi Jacques,

did you follow the installation sequence as decribed in the users manual (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/slau227e/slau227e.pdf) - software first and then plugging in the eZ430U to the USB port? If not, pls de-install all software and do the steps in the right order.

The wiki for this tool (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/EZ430-RF2500) gives you a troubleshooting guide if the tool is still not working.

P.S. The eZ430-RF2500 can not be use for Bluetooth communication! Even if your hardware want's too this attempt will fail!
