MSP430FR6989: Confused by the number of Capture/Compare registers each timer have

Part Number: MSP430FR6989

Hi,

I have an MSP430FR6989, and when I read it's datasheet, on the device's overview, page 1/183, it mentions that the MSP430FR6989, have 5, 16 bit timers, each have 7 CC Registers.

TA0, TA1, TA2, TA3, TB0, each have CCR0 to CCR6

When I go to page 3/183 of the same datasheet. In the functional block it mentions:

TA0  3 CC
TA1  3 CC
TA2  2 CC
TA3  5 CC
TB0  7 CC

Can someone explain to me, why is the device overview (page 1/183) is different from the device's functional block (page 3/183)

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Forat
