CCS/MSP430FR2433: How to add library files of VL6180x distance sensor to ccs ?

Hi,

I want to know how to add library files of VL6180x distance sensor to ccs.I downloaded library files from github and added to my project in CCS by add files option and i gave header file of that sensor in main.c file.But, while building the project I'm getting errors. Can anyone please help me how to avoid those errors ?

Hi Bruce,

Are your library files source code or pre-compiled object libraries? If they are pre-compiled, are the CCS (TI) compiler generated libraries (.lib)?

You need to figure out what symbols are missing. Unfortunately, the Problems window doesn't tell you that. The only way I know is View->Console.

It looks as though you are responsible for defining the functions of the form "MyDev_something". Did you get them all?

please, provide a console output when a compilation is done, the vl6180_platform.h and vl6180_types.h files.
