  • Hi Vijay,

the support in our forum is clustered depending on the part, this is why I'm replying to you instead of Roberto. I'm working with the MSP430 group and thus your question was directed to me first.

    1) We support both Code Composer Studio (CCS) and IAR as IDEs for the MSP430F2252. You'll find all the related software as well as code examples in the product tools folder. This also applies for 2).

    2) In addition to the above please also have a look at the following documents:

    MSP430 Flash Device Bootloader

    MSP430 Programming with JTAG Interface

Please let me know in case you have follow-up questions.

    Best regards,

    Britta

  • Dear Britta,

  • Hi Vijay,

CCS is free of charge, unfortunately I don't have information on IAR-KICKSTART software license.

You can visit the MSP430F2252 Product Folder Web page where you'll find all relevant information for programming and debugging, as well as the tools which we provide or suggest for you to use.

Let me know in case you don't find any of your questions answered when going through the documents and tables on the web page. The tools and software tab will be the one you're looking for.

Please note that this forum is targeted for technical support only, please go via ti.com or your preferred distributor for purchasing requests.

Have a good day yourself and let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,

    Britta

  • Dear Britta,

Thanks for information. I saw firmware flowchart in design review of a 2KW parallelable power supply module (Roberto Scibilia)...it is very short.

Can you provide detail flow chart of this 2KW moudle? for better understanding and changes as per our requirement....Some internal naming,

indications and flow in coding not clear as such see...therefore please provide details software flowchart and other software related information if any...

    Thanks & Regards,

    Vijay

  • Hi Vijay,

I think you are referring to figure 32: Firmware flowchart in the Design review of a 2-k-W parallelable power supply module.

This flowchart does showcase the microcontroller functionality and implementation. Unfortunately there is no more detailed one that I can provide you with.

The only suggestion here would be to start with your application from a very basic concept and step by step adding more functionality to it. Thus it makes sense to maybe use the given flowchart as a basis and then adapt it further.

I hope this already helps you to get started.

    Best regards,

    Britta

  • Hi Vijay,

as I didn't hear back from you I assume that your questions have been answered so far and you were able to move on with your application.
I'll go ahead and close this thread.

    Best regards,
    Britta
  • Dear Britta
