Hi,

Now customer is using KB9022 on their EC block, could we provide our MSP430G2553 to them?

Please kindly advise.

It is hard to find a data sheet for the KB9022 in order to compare the devices. But it seems the KB9012 is a 128kB device with 128 pin package.
The KB9012 also has special registers e.g. KBC (Keyboard Control).

I think the KB device is specifically made as embedded controller for mainboards, thus a lot of functions are integrated that need to be written in firmware on the MSP.
