Hello all,

I want to design ezFET for msp430F5529 developed board.

And I have MSP430-FET debugger 、msp430f5529、msp430f5529 socket.

And I download the ezFET open source package on the internet.

I find the ezFet_package.zip fold for Firmware. there is many version for hex file.

And I find the schematic is used by msp430F5528,for ezFet.

Now my question is if i want to change the oringinal schematic circuit for use msp430F5529

Could i burn the hex file to msp430F5529 to change msp430F5528.

Because I have no socket for msp430F5528 and msp430F5528.

The hex file is for any series Msp430 MCU or only MSP430F5528?

please help me.

The F5528 and F5529 are identical, except for the package.

The ezFET firmware does not care about the additional ADC/comparator channels that would be available in the larger package.

So, the hex file I can burn to the MSP430F5529? It can make ezFET?

Yes, the BSL and FW .txt files are what is in the eZ-FET chip.

Hi,

yes, you should be fine using it on MSP430F5529 as Clemens suggested.
Did you download it from the official TI software page?
