EVM430-FR6047: Capture window value

The unit of ADC Capture is raw data of 12 bit ADC conversion result. The ultrasonic sound signal is transformed to voltage signal by transducer. And then the SDHS captures the voltage signal amplified by PGA. But for a TOF based ultrasonic measurement, the thing we need to care is the ultrasonic sound transit time. The real value of ADC captured voltage is not critical. So,by the way, what's your application?

Thank you for the help. I am looking forward to applications in large open channels upto 10 - 20 m (using same transit time principle). I would have to design boosting circuit for this application. I want to quantify the gain I would be required.

Can you tell me upto what maximum range of TOF is the reading reliable?

There is a TI reference design TIDA-01486 Ultrasonic Flow Transmitter Reference Design, which is designed for large pipe with external amplifier for EVM430-FR6047. This may be helpful.

Yes I have gone through this earlier. I am planning to implement it. If the gain is not sufficient I have to do something else.

If I change the frequency of transducers to 200kHz how can I implement using MSP430FR6047. Can I use GASLIB for that purpose?
