MSP432E401Y: Example code for these bundles?

Part Number: MSP432E401Y
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EXP432E401Y, CC1310, CC2640R2F

Gents,

Having just acquired a couple of MSP-EXP432E401Y boards, we have all components required to test out the examples below. We'd like to use them as simple demos for some upcoming presentations.

Is there any pre-packaged, ready-to-go software for these bundles?

SIMPLELINK-ETHERNET-CLOUD:
SimpleLink™ MSP432E4 Ethernet LaunchPad™ + 2x CC1310 LaunchPad™ Bundle

SIMPLELINK-ETHERNET-BLE:
SimpleLink™ MSP432E4 Ethernet LaunchPad™ + CC2640R2F LaunchPad™ Bundle

Thanks in advance!   Lou

  • Hello Lou,

Please look at this SimpleLink Academy lab that points to the relevant software that can be used with the bundle SIMPLELINK-ETHERNET-CLOUD.

For the bundle SIMPLELINK-ETHERNET-BLE, we currently don't have any software available.

    Thanks,

    Sai

  • Thanks, Sai!  (Though your link above appears to refer back to your response itself...!)You got me on the right track; with a bit of searching around in the SimpleLink Academy section, I came across this link which seems to be on point:

It's really those MSP432 coprocessor images which are answering a lot of questions of logic I couldn't get around! I'd been searching directly in examples for the LaunchPad itself; not entirely helpful!

Please let me know if my link above is the best material available on this - yours above appears to be a link back to the response itself.

    Tks again!  Lou

  • Hello Lou,

SIMPLELINK-ETHERNET-BLE case looks to not to be a peanut.
simplelink_sdk_ble_plugin_1_40_00_42 contains BlueTooth examples for MSP_EXP432P4111
however porting that to simplelink_msp432e4_sdk_2_20_00_20 platform would require time.

How much time do you have?

It's embarrassing. Thanks for pointing out. I fixed the link in my original response. The link you pointed to is the right one.

Are you looking for the source code of the co-processor images? I believe the co-processor images came from the CC13xx SDK in this folder.

    Thanks,

    Sai
