MSP430FR5994: RS485 serial bootloader

Sirs:

We'll need to come up with a serial bootloader that works through an on board RS485 chip which needs tx/rx direction set in the process.

Don't believe the built in bootloader will work because of the necessary direction control and because it apparantly uses two of the jtag pins for secret codes.

So I'll bet you already have source code available to do this. Please advise.

We do not have source code available for this. It would essentially be using the UART BSL, but would also need to set the direction and enter the BSL entry sequence.

As this would be a custom BSL, you could use MSPBoot to implement the additional features required for RS-485. See section 6 of the document below.
