MSP430FR6989: About change of section address

Hello

I am using CCS to create a program of MSP430FR6989.
Currently the text section is allocated to H'10000.
I'd like to change the text section address.
For example,
.text H'05000
I want to place it in the address as shown.Now I have confirmed the MSP 430 optimized C / C ++ compiler user's guide.
The NOTE in 6.1.3 states that the CODE section is automatically allocated by the linker.

Are each section located at a fixed address and can not be changed?

Hi,

It is possible to modify the linker cmd file to do what you need.

If you haven't already, take a look at Section 4 Linking C/C++ Code of CCS Compiler Guide for description of linker commands in Section 4.

Also, take a look at Debugging Flash Issues on the MSP430, Section 4.3.1. Note the information in this document equally applies to both FLASH and FRAM.

I tried this on the bench and it works.
