MSP430FR5994: Can we use FRAM as memory area for LEA instead of SRAM ?

Can we change the MEP430FR5994 linker to point LEA memory into FRAM instead of SRAM ?

I understand it may be slow to directly work out of FRAM, but just want to know if this is possible.

Also, is there a way to get direct access to LEA registers ? without using a high-level library like DSPLib ?
