An interesting observation about MSP430 folder I downloaded.

I see several zip folders with PSPICE model of MSP430

What would these mean?

Are there TINA-TI usable SPICE models of some functions of MSP430 microcontroller?

If so, how do I open/use them in TINA-TI?

Hi Robin,

I am not sure where you are seeing PSpice models for MSP430. Can you point me to the exact location where you saw these?

Pl see below list of spurious SPICE model for MSP430. I am sure there is no such thing....yet, you see the list of Unicorns..........how so?

Can you point me to the links on TI.com where these came from? From the image, I only see your local files and have no way to very what these are.

see the contents of one folder: seems these related to symbol/footprint in Orcad or something

Hi Robin,

Yes, it is likely the inbuilt symbols provided by Cadence. FYI.. we have not developed any models that natively come with PSpice installation (even if they are TI parts). All our models (developed by TI) can be found on TI.com directly. For questions pertaining to Cadence, you can contact the Cadence support here: https://www.orcad.com/forum
