MSP430FR5969: Power up slope

Hallo

I use the above MSP, it powered from TPS62125 and it work fine

lately I notice the voltage Power up have an issue - it have a glitch - see attachment

What is the reason and what I should do?

    Could you explain what the oscilloscope screenshot is depicting? As in what instance the supply voltage was supplied and what exact signals are being probed. I'd like to see waveforms for the supply voltage to the buck converter in addition to the output voltage of the converter.

    Have you referred to the converter's datasheet (www.ti.com/.../tps62125.pdf) to make sure that your schematic matches that of the examples provided and that the layout matches the best practices suggestions in Section 10 of the document?

    You are saying that this phenomena has only been happening lately. Does this mean that you were not seeing this before? If so what might have changed in the hardware between then and now?

    Hallo Matt,

    The above issue probably was measurement issue, when I change the ground connection of probe it disappear.

    I have similar but smaller issue on other MSP - it does non occur on all board.

    I am glad to hear that you were able to determine where the cause of the measurement error was from and resolved that issue. Please go ahead and select "Resolved" so that we can close this thread out and should a problem arise in the future in regards to the voltage coming from the regulator, feel free to post your inquiry on the Power Management forum ( e2e.ti.com/.../196 ) so that a power management expert can help you debug the problem.
