MSP432E401Y: 32 bit output instruction for Communication with ADS8691(ADC)

The MSP432 families output instructions in 16 bits, however the ADS8691 expects 32 bit instructions. in addition, the default output registers are 16bits wide. Is there spoem expample code sonmewhere showing atleast one way to set up the MSP432 so that it can output a 32 bit instruction?

I should clarify that I am using (or hoping to use) each of the MSP432's 4 SPI channels to communicate independently with 4 external ADS8691 ADC's

If you do not plan to use any other SPI devices on your four SPI buses, you may use 3 wire interfaces, probably.
The latest MSP432 DriverLib 4.30.00.00, link: dev.ti.com/.../
provides the API for handling a 3-wire SPI communication.

16/32 bit instructions set is not an issue.

Using ADS8691 high performance you might need the DMA transfers.

Hello Stephen,

I am looking at the MSP432E401Y TRM and it discusses how to use the EOM bit to control when the SSinFSS is asserted. Perhaps you can use this to send two 16-bit frames for the ADC8691.
