As far as generic iOS/Android applications that you can use to test bonding/pairing I would recommend the following:

• LightBlue Explorer for iOS
• BLE Scanner for Android

Regarding the actual bonding/pairing logic this is very specific to each end application. For iOS (and Android to a lesser extent) all of the bonding and pairing (and entering the key) is down behind the scenes in the iOS/Android kernel layer.

As far as an example of how this would occur I would specifically look at the SimpleLink SDK Explorer mobile application:

(I realize this is for CC3220 and not MSP432, however the BLE SNP interaction is the same between the two).

For iOS it is very simple and all of the bonding/pairing ugliness is handled by the CoreBluetooth framework. When you call the connect function in CBCentralManager iOS will automatically display a prompt for a passcode and send the passcode to the device. If the passcode is wrong you will get a SNP_SECURITY_EVT event in the BLE_processSNPEventCB callback function (see ble_provisioning.c in the referenced code example). It is then up to the embedded peripheral device to then sever the connection and handle the security error accordingly.

Android is very similar. Once the createBond function is called from BluetoothDevice Android will display a prompt to enter the pass key and relay this to the peripheral device. Any logic with the key being incorrect is handled on the embedded side.
