Product MSP430FR5972IPMR export control restrictions???

Part Number: MSP430FR5972

Hi!
I am Ukrainian!
I live in Ukraine, the city of Kiev.
I have nothing to do with Russia !!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought from you three times orders.
MSP430FR5972IPMR - Ultra Low Power Micro Controller

Today I could not buy anything, because when you make an order you write to me:
"...Product MSP430FR5972IPMR cannot be shipped to nor purchased by country Ukraine due to export control restrictions. Please remove this product from your cart..."

what happened ?
Why can not I buy these chips?
I do not use them for military or automotive applications, I make chargers for lead batteries.
please help me

  • Hi Alexander,

Sorry to confuse you with the ordering.

We will check your issue and reply you later.
  • Thank!
I will be waiting for your reply.

.... I really would not like to abandon the products of TI.COM and switch to STM16(32) ...

...I can buy STM in Ukraine without any problems...

  • Hi Alexander!

I apologize for the inconvenience and will help get this resolved as soon as possible. I have reached out to our sales team for support. Can you attach the message or a screenshot of the message you received from TI?

    Thank you!

    -Mitch
  • Hi Alexander!

The TI export control team has blocked this item for export to the Ukraine. We suggest you order from an authorized distributor for your region. A list of authorized distributors can be found here: www.ti.com/.../distributors.html

    Thanks!

    Mitch
  • You are killing my small business and making it impossible for me to use Texas Instruments chips

    because:

    1) in Ukraine there are no "authorized distributors" TI ...NO ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2) It makes no difference to me where to buy - from Europe or the USA, but in Europe “distributors” never have anything to do just under the order and the wait. Directly from TI, I can buy immediately.

    3) I tried to buy in Mouser - I could not - they wrote me the same as your server when placing the order:

"...Product MSP430FR5972IPMR cannot be shipped to nor purchased by country Ukraine due to export control restrictions. Please remove this product from your cart..."

    eu.mouser.com/.../

    4) The price in Mouser is in Euros, and the absolute value of prices is higher than yours, so I “just like that” lose up to 10-15% of the price simply because of the difference in exchange rates. So, for example, when I'm buy 100pcs I have a price of 2.99 dollars, and in Mouser 3.09 Euros !!!  I do not understand why I have to pay more.

I begin to regret that I chose TI as a source of microprocessors for my development.
And if the situation with the order now does not change, I will be forced to abandon the use of TI chips in general, because I can not buy them directly, and there are no "authorized distributors" in Ukraine and are not expected. I do not want to feed dealers who cheat the extra price without doing anything.

I am very disappointed with this TI policy.

Perhaps that is why, because of this attitude of TI to Ukraine, microprocessors of the STM company are most common among us.

    :-((((

  • Hey Alexander,

I have been working with our team to get a final resolution about what is going on. Just want to let you know I haven't forgotten! I will send updates as soon as I can.

    Thanks,

    Mitch
  • Hi Alexander,

Good news! We updated our export control restrictions. You should now be able to order the parts! I apologize for the frustration.

Please let me know if you have any more issues.

    Thanks,

    Mitch
