Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I'm attempting to hook up an external XDS110 to a MSP-EXP432P401R. I have tried the following:
1.Remove the TDI,TDO,TCK,TMS,RST jumpers from J101 isolation block
2.Connect the MSP-EXP432P401R using a USB cable. LED102 is on now
3.Connect the standalone XDS110 using USB to the PC.
4.Connect the 10 pin debug connector of the external XDS110 to J8(MSP432 In) of the MSP. LED102 turns off as soon as I connect the debug probe to the MSP432 In and the on board debugger gets heated up.
Note: I am able use the on board debugger without any issues. The issue is seen only when I try to use an external debugger
