Bluetooth communication with EZ430-CHRONOS

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1101

Hello everyone.

I want to create a constant Bluetooth communication with EZ430-CHRONOS watch in order to monitor constantly temperature, acceleration and pulse.

also I want to be able to send a notification (via phone) in case of unusual value change.

what is the best way to do that without interfering the user's experience?

  • Hi,

I am not sure if I understand your question. The EZ430-CHRONOS contains a CC430F513x microcontroller which combines a CC1101 sub-1 GHz RF transceiver with an MSP430 microcontroller.

It doesn't include a Bluetooth chip though. You can pair it with sensors or other devices based on RF transceivers. Maybe that's what you're looking for?

Please refer to the eZ430-Chronos Development Tool User's Guide for documentation for details about the development kit.

    Best regards,

    Britta
