MSP430FR2633: Debug and Program MSP430FR2633 and MSP430F6779A using MSP430G2 Launchpad

Part Number: MSP430FR2633

Hello All,

I having a MSP430G2 Launchpad and want to program MSP430FR2633 and MSP430F7669A Microcontroller using the same MSP430G2 Board but unable to do it.

Also take RESET, TEST, VCC and GND four pin as ISP.

But it gives me a error.

Any one help me to figure out this issue.

Which MSP430G2 launchpad do you use? You can refer to the MSP430 debuggers user's guide page 4

The ("old") G2 Launchpad is incapable of programming devices introduced in the past 4-5 years, as noted in the table Gary posted.

The ("new") G2ET Launchpad has an upgradeable ezFET, and so I expect can program the FR2633.

You posted a link to the "old" G2 Launchpad, so I suspect you will not succeed.
