Anyone have code to interface MSP430 with TMP75/175 temperature sensor?

Thanks, that looks like it will work. I wish that TI has a standard I2C library; I see that you have one, I have one, many people have had to make their own.

My I2C code only works in master mode. We can use any two GPIO

pins to  very easily add an extra I2C port.

I used six I2C ports in one PCB board.

For a slave mode I2C port, I still have to use TI's standard I2C interface.
It's more convenient to manage I2C interrupt by using TI's standard I2C interface.

I want to read a TI temperature sensor (TMP175) and write in a LCD display 16x2. I can write a string in display using six pins P1.0-P1.3 and P1.6-P1.7.

I read that to use the I2C communication I need the pins P1.6 and P1.7, alright? Can I do this using P1.4-P1.5?

It depends on the MSP you use. If your MSP has hardware I2C support and you want to use it, then it is usually only available on specific pins (some MSPs allow mapping of internal signals to pins, but most don't). If you want to use a software I2C solution, then any two pins can be used.
