MSP430FR6972: Hardware SPI communication problems

Part Number: MSP430FR6972

Hi ti,

Using the hardware SPI to communicate with the slave is.  If the end of the data is 0, after the MCU releases the pin, the level on the IO will slowly pull up, about 20us.

If it is 1, there is no such phenomenon.   May I ask what is the reason?

SPI clock frequency 5M.

  • Hello Hardy,
there must be some reason for this, but unfortunately the information you're providing is not sufficient.
What about the code you have implemented?
What about the HW, which you're using?
It looks like the respective IO would switch in the spot of the beginning of the slopes from output to input/floating. But as mentioned above, there must be a reason for this. So please provide more information, then we probably can make more specific suggestions. Many thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Peter
  • Hello Hardy,
any updates on your side? Have you been able to find the root cause of the floating IO? Is there still something we can do for you? If you do no longer need support on this, please close the thread. Many thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Peter
