MSP432P401R: UART issue with MSP432P401R

It looks like the Terminal is not setting appropriately. Change the "Encoding" mode and other settings, and try again.

I have tested the same program with new MSP432 and it works fine without changing the encoding method (default).

I even checked with different encoding methods and it does not print exact character.

I tested the code, but I didn't find the issue you said. Both CCS terminal and Tera Term are OK. You can reset CCS settings or may need reinstall the CCS in English environment. Or you can see the real UART wave to check if the bps is set right.

yes even am able to get the same with different MSP432P401R Launchpad, But i have one MSP432P401R LaunchPad with the issue. I even factory reset that board still same issue.

Could you capture the UART signal wave and post it? We can find something from the real wave.

Could you help me with the procedure for the same? I am not aware of it.

I can capture the wave, but it's right wave. The right wave can't help us to find out the problem in your board and device. You can capture the wave on the Oscilloscope.

How do I capture wave into an oscilloscope? (Do I need to connect TX pin to oscilloscope probe and ground?)
