RTOS/MSP432E401Y: Driver for Quad-SSI operation?

I'm trying to use the TI-RTOS example for SPI operation with an adc that uses Quad SPI. I can't seem to find in the documentation anywhere to configure the SSI/SPI driver to operate in Quad-SPI mode. Am I just missing it or does the driver not support that?

Hello James,

The SPI TI-Driver does not support Quad SPI. You could however use the non-RTOS version of the Driverlib SSI driver (./soruce/ti/devices/msp432e4/driverlib/ssi.c).

FYI: Please refer the Errata when using Quad-SPI.

It looks like there also is not a way to use PWM interrupts using the TI Drivers PWM driver. Is there a recommended method for extending TI Drivers, or is it generally just recommended to use the driverlib version when the TI Driver doesn't support specific features?
