Your question is unclear. Are you trying to use the MCU to reduce the ripple on the output of a DC-DC convertor?

How much ripple are you trying to reduce?

The algorithm is simple. Use the ADC to oversample the input. If the output is low apply a positive correction, if the output is high, a negative one. The trick is how you get that correction to change the voltage without adding more ripple.

I don't see that this MCU even has an onboard regulator, so you can't go that route.

This is not the right tool for the job.

Keith asked some good questions.

Are you trying to create a DC/DC converter with an MSP430 or is the convert just providing power to the MCU? If the later, then using some filtering caps on the VCC lines can filter some of this noise, or using and LDO regulator to further step down and smooth the voltage is and option as well.

I am using Closed Loop Analysis on MSP430G2553 to get constant output from the buck-boost converter. The code is working correctly but there is some ripple in the output. What changes should I make in the code to reduce the ripple?

How much ripple? I think this needs a hardware, not a software solution.

The only handle you really have is to change the PWM frequency.

Ripple is around 2V. The output voltage is in the range 11V to 14V. Required ooutput should be constant 12V. Can you please suggest the hardware solution?
