MSP430FR6043: Optimised library gives Alg. error 123

Hi,

When I switch to the optimised library (version 02_20_00_16) option Lobe, I get error USS_message_code_algorithm_error (123) after measuring flow. With the full library everything works fine without errors. Is there a reason for this?

Hi Thibault,

What is your application? The Lobe option is for water meter and the Hilbert wide is for gas meter.

I found the issue from the library:

USS_ALG_VOLUME_RATE_COMPUTATION_OPTION_GENERIC does not work with the optimised Lobe library, only USS_ALG_VOLUME_RATE_COMPUTATION_OPTION_WATER works for the USS_ALG_VOLUME_RATE_COMPUTATION_MODE.

I want to use the latest GENERIC mode, can this be fixed?

Library version 02_20_00_16 and the signal looks perfect.

Hi Thibault,

With the optimized lobe library, you can not use the generic mode. What's wrong with the water mode? Are there any some issues on the water mode?

I could work with water mode, I just need to be consistent as the water mode has the calibration factor in a different scale.
