Hi, I am trying to add an external clock signal to the MSP430F5529. I need to synchronize the TIMER_A from the microcontroller with the clock of an FPGA. I found that the microcontroller clock input XT2in (P5.2) is connected to the 4MHz ceramic resonator. I was thinking in generating a suitable 4MHz clock signal with the FPGA, but I do not realize if there is an easy way to introduce an external clock signal in MSP-EPX430F5529LP (something like an external clock input pin).
