MSP432E401Y: SD card interfacing with the device

Part Number: MSP432E401Y

Hello!

I am trying to interface sd card with the MSP432 board using SDIO protocol.

But I and not sure whether the board SDIO or not?

Also which one is better for data logging SPI or SDIO?

What should be the file extension best suited for data logging?

I am using .csv file for the same.

Regard.

  • Hello Ravi,

MSP432E4 does not have SDIO peripheral. We however have examples in the SimpleLink MSP432E4 SDK that demonstrate how SPI can be used to interface with SD card. The examples (fatsd, fatsdraw and sdraw) are located in the folder "./examples/rtos/MSP_EXP432E401Y/drivers/".

    Thanks,
    Sai
