MSP430FR2633: Sensor board design for captivate

Hello,

Customers are using the captivate design center to test customer-created sensor boards.
Otherwise, customers use the captivate demo board. The sensor board has 3 buttons,
and a part of the count value protrudes. From now on, customers will make boards in earnest,
but customers want to make electrodes that do not vary. Do you have any advice?
Is it good to connect MSP430FR2633 and sensor board with flexible cable?

Hi DDdoor,

I would introduce the CapTIvate technology guide to customer for design guide.
software-dl.ti.com/.../ch_design_guide.html

The flexible cable should work but you should take care of the capacitance from other board or trace on the cable.

BTW, you said the customer will make the board. Is there a new project running by customer?

I got the design of the design center V8 and the pattern diagram of the switch board from the customer.

Hello Wei,

As attached, scroll wheel of captivate phone sample design is 3 sensor design.
The captivate technology guide has a reference layout for this. Is there a reference pattern of 4 sensor design?
