EVM430-FR6047: How to configure the ultrasonic water meter parameters?

Part Number: EVM430-FR6047

Hello, we are develop an ultrasonic heat meter,the diameter of the tube is 20 mm.

I configure parameters reference "http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidudn0/tidudn0.pdf" and "EVM430-FR6047 TEST RESULT VEDIO",But i feel the data is not ideal.

Configuration parameters are as follows:

Is my configuration correct? Hoping for answers.

Hi,

Your configuration looks good for me. Maybe a little shorter in the "gap between pulses start and ADC capture" will be great, like change it to 50.

There is one thing I noticed that the mean of dTOF is -19.7ns. It is a little large than normal. Please check if you have sealed your pipe first. If yes, then it may cause by the slightly impedance mismatch of those transducers you use. You can confirmed it by switching the CH0 and CH1 transducers, and see if the mean of dTOF goes to positive. It is not a big issue for the measurement. You can cut off this offset in the software anytime.
