MSP430F5659: USB Disconnection Issue

Part Number: MSP430F5659
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB4020BI

Hi TI team,

We are working on MSP430F5659 based controller with USB CDC application. We installed driver using windows 7 to communicate and its working fine.

Our Product Details:

  • Micro-controller - MSP430F5659
  • Interface Used - USB CDC
  • USB Chip - TUSB4020BI

Hardware Design:

Data is Transferred/Received through USB Chip(TUSB4020BI). This chip is connected to MSP430F5659.

We are transferring  data USB-CDC. We are able to send and receive data successfully using utility/application.

Sometimes USB Connection is getting disconnected in the middle of communication even USB cable is connected properly. So we monitored using USB sniffer tool to capture the data transfer.

During that time we observed data transferred/received from the Device is 0 Bytes when this disconnection happens.

Kindly reply back on priority.

Best Regards

Manoj
