MSP-FET: 2 pcs of new MSP-FET newest hardware version do not work: Recovery fails

Hello,

I bought 2 pcs of the newest MSP-FET (hardware version 2.06) and tried to use it with CCS9.

After starting the debugger, the driver disapears from LPT/COM area and a HID driver apears. This is like a cold boot described in the MSP-FET manual.

But each recovery fails. I tried it with CCS9, IAR7 and MSP430Flasher 1.3.20. The last one exits with error 49.

I opened the case of the FET to try a cold boot, but the Jumper J5 is missing in the hardware version 2.06. there are only the pads of J2 and I tried the cold boot procedure with this jumper, but with the same bad result.

Any ideas?
