Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi TI Experts,

For the MSP430FR2633, i currently tested the EVM using the sample source code.

However, i need to modified/configure the source code. Do i need to modified it and compile using the Code Composer Studio?

Is 3rd party compiler able to do so and program into the MSP430FR2633?

Is there any guidance or documentation to do so?

Please advice.

Hi Teach,

You could update the code and re-compile by CCS/IAR or other IED which supporting MSP430.

Hi Zhao,

I found a reference design TIDA-01008.

It has reference for LED brightness control using Captivate Slider. It also provide a sample source code.

May I know how/method to link the TIDA-01008 sample source code to my project file?

Hi Teach,

You need to porting the code or source file to your own project. You may need to porting the call back function of the CapTIvate elements from the sample source code. Please find the software library guide for how to create your call back function:
