MSP432P4111: Error connecting to the target: (Error -261 @ 0x0)

Hi,

I have been trying to debug a custom MSP432P4111 board using a Launchpad as debugger through JTAG (10-pin) connector. I have been facing the following message when I run the debugger in CCS: "Error connecting to the target: (Error -261 @ 0x0) Invalid response was received from the XDS110. (Emulation package 8.1.0.00012)". I have checked the page: but I do not found the answer for this specific error code. Can someone helpe-me?

Otavio,

1) Are you able to use your LaunchPad debugger to connect to/program another LaunchPad, confirming that the issue is not from the LaunchPad side?

2) Do you have a pull down resistor on your TCK pin? This is one of ARM's guidelines is to have a PD here so that at power up it does not create a fake TCK pulse.
