MSP430FR2355: Using MSP430FR2355 as SMBus Master

I’m planning to use the MSP430FR2355 in a system with a smart battery pack and a bq24770 NVDC charger. How do I get the MSP430FR2355 to act as the master for the SMBus and then send/receive SMBus commands? Is there an application not on this? I’m also looking for some code examples.

    Hi Carl,

    There is an SMBUS library in the MSP430Ware that you can download.

    I believe there is example code for the MSP430FR device family.

    You can also get this through the TI Resource Explorer.
