CCS/MSP430FR2355: How to verify programmed code with a checksum

I would like to verify that a certain .hex file or programming file matches the file that has been programmed into an MSP430. Is there a checksum that can be read from the file during the erase/program/verify process? I would like to label the hex file with the checksum and then label the part with the checksum and then have production verify that the checksum on the label matches the checksum programmed into the device and know that it matches the source programming file.
