MSP432E401Y: MAC Address

Part Number: MSP432E401Y

After some corrections to a new target board, code is loading and we are stepping through initialization.

It appears to be hanging up when first accessing the MAC Address, as we try to initialize the on-board IP stack.

It occurred to me to ask - do these devices ship with pre-programmed, unique MAC Addresses?

Thanks, TER, that made it clear.

Yes, the registers were all F's, and I realized they would need to be, so we could assign our own addresses.

Hi Dave,

may I ask you how you access and program the so called user regs holding the MAC address? I don't know if it is possible to program these registers at runtime?
