CCS/MSP430F169: Problems with interupt flag beeing set

I think I do not understand you correctly. I have set P2IFG = 0 in my code, but still the if statement was executed, so P2IFG is still set.

Where is your LED installed? Is it on P2?

A P2IFG bit is set if the pin changes (per P2IES), whether or not the respective P2IE bit is set. P2IFG has the flags for all of the P2 pins, so your test checks whether Any of the P2 pins has changed state. (I'm guessing it's being set due to blinking the LED, but it could be something else.)

It's really only useful to check the pin(s) you're interested in. To check (e.g.) P2.1, use something like:

> if (P2IFG & BIT1)     // Did P2.1 change state (recently)?

I tested all the Pins for their interrupt flag. Only the adc pin has a flag set.

The Led is connected another port. Actually there is no device hooked up to port2 but the adc interrupt.

I checked with a scope whether the pin has a change in voltage level, but  I could not measure one.

This construction leads to an infinite loop:

        while(P2IFG & pin7){
            P2IFG &= ~pin7;
        }

No, I haven't seen this behavior (IFG bit stuck high with no activity on pin) before. Does it change if you disconnect the wire from the ADC?
