RTOS/MSP432-RTOS: Using LwIP on MSP432

Hello!

I have NFC bank card reader, it uses RS232 and PPP to connect to bank host. Also i have SIM800 for internet connection.

I want to use MSP432 between NFC-reader and SIM800 as a UART-TCP/IP converter. To do this, i need library like LwIP. Can i install it to MSP432?

May be you can point me to the relative examples?

Any ideas about UART-TCP/IP converter?

Hello Rustem,

Which MSP432 MCU do you plan to use. The SimpleLink MSP432E4 SDK (for MSP432E4 MCUs) comes with lwIP TCP/IP stack (./source/third_party/lwip) and examples (./examples/nortos/MSP_EXP432E401Y/lwip/).

We don't have a UART to Ethernet example for the MSP432E4 SDK but you could use the following TI Design and port it to the SimpleLink MSP432E4 SDK.

9$ for MSP432E4 is to expensive for my project. May be you can advise me a chipper MCU?

Try to look for the TM4C devices for Ethernet MAC+PHY based MCUs.
