Hi,

Do we have cell phone apps that could be used to upgrade MSP430 firmware via USB? Thanks.

    Hey Daniel,

    No.  We don't have any apps that could do this over USB.  We definitely wouldn't have an official TI app pushed out for this purpose.  

    I believe there are 3rd party apps that do over the air updates with some of the simple link radios.  My understanding is that the app basically just transmits the firmware image. The radio then stores it and invokes it's own BSL or the BSL of another device on the board. 

    I'm not sure if those apps would be useful at all and I wasn't able to find any clear examples with a quick online search.
