When the MCU is in reset due to the RST pin being pulled low, what is the state of the GPIO? Do they default to floating inputs? or....?
Thank You!

Hi Chris,
According the MSP430x2xx users guide, GPIO are initialized as inputs. It is recommended that you set any "unused" GPIO as an output and set = 0 to prevent power consumption due to the floating inputs.
Hi.
Thanks for the fast response. Noted that they are inputs. I presume PxDIR and PxREN are also reset in such a way that the pull-up/down resistor is disable so that the input is essentially floating?
