Hi.
Is it possible to use one microcontroller only, the MSP430G, having as its objective two simultaneous communication ports: SPI and I2C?
I’m asking because I saw that the pin assignment of the MSP430G2955 is shared: P3.1 and P3.2 for both.

It is possible with the MSP430G2955 to have two simultaneous communication ports:
As you could see in the Block Diagram, there are two USCI devices in the chip.
USCIA0 is possible to do the SPI and USCIB0 is capable to do I2C.
You have to setup both modules to the specific functionality. Then you can use them simultaneously.
