MSP430FR6047: How to solve problem for USS quiescent point abnormal?

HI,We test MSP430FR6047 with USS LIB encounter a problem. Quiescent point is easy to abnormal,sometimes it's large or sometimes it's small.

Example: 1.Quiescent state: TOF is 955829ps or -955829ps;

2.Dynamic state: TOF is 1454687ps,actually TOF is 488363ps ,Deviation value is about the same as Quiescent state TOF;

This can happen when the system is running for a while, especially when there is a lot of traffic.

We suspect USS module automatic capture quiescent point of the problem,no find stop automatic capture quiescent point API from USS LIB.

Hoping for answers.

Hello,

It sounds like you may need to set the envelope crossing threshold. Figure 6 of the TI Design discusses how to set this threshold value properly.

Hi,

I think not this,it be define in "USS_userConfig.h" .

Quiescent point abnormal we only reset the system,reset USS module is invalid.And It runs for a while then it goes into abnormal again.

we make three samples ,one of abnormal is so seriousness ,it happens a lot.And others is once in a while.

Can you provide a capture of the ADC waveform? Are you using the default envelope crossing threshold of 11? If the threshold is set on the border, this problem you describe could occur especially when testing over temperature or varying flow rates.
