MSP-GANG: 25 G1 Verify-100 Verify error

Hello,

I am using MSP Gang programmer and trying to program one at a time. It showing up "25 G1 Verify-100 Verify error" is this mean " ERROR # 025 - Flash blank check failed" . Also when I tried to reprogrammed it , gives false check mark. when power cycle MSP Gang programmer then device was programmed correctly. Is this a MSP Gang programmer issue?

Hello Shobha,

Are you using the GUI or some other interface? By false checkmark, do you mean a red X?

The Verify function is explained in section 2.1.1.5 of the MSP-Gang User's Guide: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau358p/slau358p.pdf

It recommends an option from the pulldown menu View->Compare Code file and Flash Data. This only compares sections of memory that were actually programmed and ignores the rest of the memory.
