MSP-GANG: Cannot upload Images to MSP-GANG programmer :(

I am trying to upload new image onto MSP-GANG Programmer in interactive mode and I am getting the following error

"Downloading Script Buffer...Verifying Script PSA ...Failed
ERROR 352: Image CRC error. Program terminated.
read error!!"

This has previously worked in the past but now not. When this error occurs the image now comes up with error and is unusable.

Your help is appreciated.

Hello Hugh,

Have you tried with a simple example project image and see if it works?

Yes, It still comes up with the same error. I can program directly to the microchip however every time I try to download to the image on the MSP-GANG Programmer it comes up with the same error. I have tried multiple image locations on the MSP-GANG Programmer as well. Still the same result.

I have brought a replacement MSP GANG PROGRAMMER. this worked straight away. The MSP GANG PROGRAMMER was faulty and only lasted 2 years. It anyone else has this error most likely your MSP GANG PROGRAMMER is corrupted.
