Hi,

I'm considering ADC of MSP432E401Y.

I use CCS9.2, Smplelink3.30.00.22 and MSP-EXP432E401Y.

I'm correcting a sample program and am reading the adc value of AIN17 (PK1).

ADCbuf was taken up here before, so it was confirmed to be corrected.

However, I select AIN17 (PK1) in Adcbufcontinuous sample, it can't read the true value.

I used below for a sample of ADCbuf.

And I used below for a sample of ADC.

This is right.

I select AIN17 (PK1) in Adcsinglechannel sample, it can't read the true value.

I confirmed that a ADCbuf sample is normally executing certainly, too.

But I can't get true ADC value by the method for which ADCbuf isn't used.

Did you configure the ADC peripheral for PK1 in syscfg? How do you select PK1?

Hello,

I see I'm getting data when I configure it to PK1. All I did was set one of the peripherals to use PK1 and the example just works. Did you change anything else in the example? You should be seeing the ADC sample results print to the terminal.

Hello,

I made it simple and checked it once again.

I changed only one point of a sample cord to PK1.

The result was same and whatever voltage was input to PK1, was ignored.

A modify in the sample cord is below.

Hello,

Okay I think I misunderstood at first. I ran it again with the PK1 to ground and the ADC sample doesn't seem to change much regardless of what voltage level I hold it at. Is this the problem you're having? Please confirm. If possible, please include screenshot of what you're seeing.

Hello,

Just to provide a quick update. I reviewed the schematic for the Launchpad and I don't see any HW issues that could be causing this behavior. Also, I tested the other analog pins related to PKx and they are all exhibiting the same behavior. It seems to be related to PKx because I tested PBx, PDx and PEx and it works fine. I will begin investigating the SW side next.
