I was assigned to write a code for annunciator (GPIO application). That application requries 4 LED's, two on board which are connected to switches and the other are off board. When i was running the program LED's on board were not lightening up, when i have tried the same program on my friend's MSP432, those both LED's lighted up.

Do you have jumpers on those headers? 

Have you used a multimeter to measure the voltage on the device's pins that are supposed to drive the LEDs?

I don't have any jumpers on that and voltage is around 5v.

Is it the exact same board you and your friend has? If yes, is it any difference on how the board is configured etc? 

It had better not be 5 V on a 3.3 V processor! How are you supplying power?

It is the same board. We are assigned with the same program to finish.

 The module is connected to my PC. Is the 5V supply is the problem?

If you measure 5 V on an output pin, yes. Measure the 3.3 V rail on the boosterpack header.

I think I'm not measuring on a output pin. I am working on a Annunciator (GPIO application), in this case 4 led's were connected to this application, two are on board and remaining are off board, four switches were connected. When we hit the switches, application should change the states and that states reflects on the led's. In my case what's happening is led's connected on board and off board were not turning ON. Please help me in fixing this.

Does it work if you just load the single-on-board LED blinking program?

If you unplug your LED's and you measure 5 V anywhere except the 5 V bus on the boosterpack, your launchpad is damaged.

If that is the case, what's the solution?

I was going to say earlier, that if it works with your friend's board it is one of several causes:

A bad LaunchPad

Your LED's are miswired. (did you connect the ground?)

All the connections are good and i have connected the ground.

- Where DO you measure 5 V? Please take a picture of the board and insert an arrow to show clearly where you are measuring.

- Does your board have the the exact same jumpers etc as the board that works. 

Note that the boards are ESD sensitive. It looks like you have placed the board on a carpet or similar which is typically not optimal with regards to ESD. Not sur where the arrow points? 

Note that if you measure on the USB connection you will measure 5 V since USB is spec'ed to this voltage. 

I would compare voltages (all jumpers equal, running the same program) with your friends board (the board that works) on the MSP part of the board (above the dotted line shown on the LP)

Previously, I have executed my program on a iron table and that made no difference. I think the voltage is not going through the all the jumpers, if this is the case, how to solve that.
