Hi,
My customers have a question about EPI register setting.

I understand that the number of cycles of WRn / RDn strobe duration low (E20) is determined by the following registers.

P.1111 16.4.3.4 Speed of Transactions

For example, if I set 2 EPI clock cycles,
Is the number of cycles of WRn / RDn strobe duration low always 2 EPI clocks?

Hi Rei,

Apologies for the delay.

Your reasoning is correct. With the settings explained in 16.4.3.4, you are effectively setting the number of wait states given for each strobe.

You can also take a look at the epi.c driverlib file in the MSP432E4 SDK for an additional explanation and guide on how to set the EPI register values. There are many helper functions in there that will setup the EPI and perform reads/writes without having to puzzle through the raw register maps.
